Warsaw.  Maspex has introduced new product in the market - pasta and under one of
their leading brands – Lubella taking advantage of Shrek license.
Awareness of the Shrek is at the level of 97% (teenagers & adults) and 91% (kids) in
Poland. The propert is well known and liked by all target groups. What also proves
the strength of the brand is the fact that Shrek films have a leading positions in the
box office ranking on animations in Poland.
 
Two pasta products (400 g) have shapes tailored to licensed brand characters: Mini
Shrek - pasta shape: Shrek head and Mini Ciastek - Cookie shaped pasta. Moreover,
Shrek logo and Shrek and Cookie characters are also included on the packages of the
products. There are also two more SKUs with the brand characters of Shrek license:
Spaghetti 500 g with Shrek logo, Shrek and Fiona; Mini Świderki Maspex has also
launched new packaging designs of Lubella pasta with the same Shrek characters –
Spaghetti 500 g & Mini Świderki 400 g with Shrek logo, Shrek and Donkey on the
package.

Maspex has also introduced under Shrek license dedicated offer (in-outs) of 400 g
cereals: Choco Shrek with Shrek logo, Shrek and Puss in Boots characters on the
package and Cinis Fiona – crown shaped cereals with Shrek logo and Fiona brand
character on the package. Moreover, three more Lubella cereals packages of the
products: Choco muszelki, Choco kulki and Choco piegołaki have been given Shrek
designs: logo and characters.

Products have been available on the market since 25.01.2021 promoted with retail-
marketing activities (wobblers, shelf stripes, displays, posters, digital video) in
February and March 2021.
