Ice Age is produced by Blue Sky Studios, a division of 20th Century Fox. The first movie Ice Age debuted in 2002, and was box office success by grossing over $383 million, starting the Ice Age franchise. It was followed by four sequels, Ice Age: The Meltdown in 2006, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs in 2009, Ice Age: Continental Drift in 2012, and Ice Age: Collision Course in 2016. 

The movies are featuring the voices of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, and Chris Wedge. As of April 2016, the franchise had generated $6 billion in revenue, making it one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. During these 14 years, several short films and television specials has been made, mainly starring Scrat, who never stops chasing his precious acorn. 

Ice Age: Collision Course (2016)

Scrat's epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.
